Felix
In the summer of 1995, on the island of Inishbofin, Co. Galway, Felix found himself sharing a pub table with Roy, a sailor who had come in on the tide. As you might, Felix and Roy chatted and shared a few pints. The conversation, while varied, never strayed far from boats. Felix, like a lot of others, had always thought that boating was a pursuit of the idle wealthy. Jumping at the chance to visit Roys boat, Felix learned that this life was more accessible then he ever would have thought possible. This chance meeting sparked an interest which has become a passion, and a livelihood.
Felix has worked full time on the water since 2004, in yacht clubs, passenger tour companies and teaching establishments. He has not only introduced many newcomers to the excitement of the water, but has also trained marine professionals in advanced techniques, safety and environmental issues.
Ann Marie
Globetrotting Ann-Marie landed in Key West, Florida for seven years and made it her home. Living on a variety of boats in the City Marina, Ann-Marie met boating characters from all over the world who were on their way to the Caribbean, Cuba and beyond. While Dublin and Key West are miles and years apart, she still makes her life and living by the water. Ann-Marie has a business background in real estate, publishing and recruitment.

City Powerboat School offers high quality, professional courses to improve the level of safety and awareness amongst boat users.
HOW City Powerboat School strives to stimulate interest and educate more people about the river and the surrounding Dublin Bay areas without having a negative impact on the earth.
WHY We feel that the waterways in and around Dublin are a fantastic, under utilised resource and we want to expose, educate and encourage people to enjoy this for themselves.
WHERE Based in Poolbeg Marina, Ringsend, Dublin 4, our area of operation includes the whole of Dublin Bay and beyond.

We are an Irish Sailing Association recognized training establishment. We are Dublin City's only powerboat training school, operating in the highly visible River Liffey area.
Our position in Dublin City has attracted many enquiries, for not only powerboat training courses, but sail training, tourism activities, and educational oppertunities, suggesting that CITYPOWERBOATSCHOOL is the tip of the iceberg of potential.
